Tag Mag & Mag 4U Launch
Children in North Tyneside are being encouraged to speak up on the issues that matter to them with the publication of their very own magazines.‘'Tag Mag’ and ‘Mag4U’ have been written by pupils, for pupils, and will go out to all schools in the borough this week. Inspired by the children themselves, their aim is to connect young people in a way that’s fun and interesting, and to provide a forum for pupils to write about things important to them.
We want North Tyneside to be a place where:
Children are respected, valued and listened to;Childhood is nurtured;Children are happy, healthy, confident and safe, and are challenged and supported to be the best they can be;The power of learning is used to transform the lives of individuals and regenerate our communities.Find out more about our Children and Young People's Plan in the Knowledge and Information section.
